Navigating Life Transitions

Any time someone enters or exits our family system we need to find ways to adapt to the change and be flexible. The life transition might also affect more than one person in the family and each person may have different ideas about what this change will look like and how to proceed moving forward. These changes can occur at any time in our lifespan. A few examples are:
- Birth of a child
- Infertility
- Loss of a job
- Retirement
- Divorce
- Death
- Domestic Violence
- LGBTQ Coming Out
Having a safe space in therapy to explore these transitions can assist individuals, couples and families navigate through the changes with increased clarity, safety and flexibility.
