Group Therapy

A cost effective alternative to individual therapy or an excellent addition for help finding a safe place to practice new skills.

There are several unique benefits to participating in Group Therapy. By attending therapy as a group you have an opportunity to practice many of your interpersonal skills. People often report that it is comforting to know that others are experiencing problems and they are not alone. Hearing feedback from the other group members can often shed light on how presenting issues impact others around you and help you identify your unique strengths. By coming to group, participating, and courageously sharing many find that they are able to grow in new ways. Also many experience a sense of joy that they were able to help another member of the group grow and change. An initial assessment is required before participating in group therapy.
